I was commissioned to complete a redesign of Checkmate Café and Grill, a fast-food restaurant in Luton that offers a range of freshly prepared smash burgers, French fries, breakfast meals, and other items.

 

The objective was to create a contemporary and visually appealing design that would resonate with the target audience. The logo and mascot are striking and dynamic, with a focus on visibility and clarity, while the brand identity reflects the company's values and expertise, with a nod to its location and a welcoming, recognisable aesthetic that conveys transparency and trustworthiness.
